Kyoto City Accommodation Tax（京都市宿泊税）
2018年10月1日より、京都市内でのご宿泊を対象に宿泊税が課税されます。
室料には下記の宿泊税が加算されます。
Starting October 1, 2018, an accommodation tax will be applied to all stays within Kyoto city limits.
The following accommodation tax will be added to the room charge.

The tax rate is applied to the room charge (exclusive 8% consumption tax) based on per person per night.
宿泊税は宿泊料金のみに適用されます。食事代等には消費税はかかりません。
The accommodation tax is applied only to the room rate. The tax does not apply to the cost of meals, etc.
この京都市宿泊税に関する条例は、平成30年3月1日に批准され、平成30年10月1日から「京都市宿泊税条例」として施行されます。
The ordinance for this Kyoto City accommodation tax was ratified on March 1, 2018, and goes into effect on October 1, 2018 as the “Municipal Ordinance for Kyoto City Accommodation Tax”.
