Kyoto City Accommodation Tax（京都市宿泊税）

2018年10月1日より、京都市内でのご宿泊を対象に宿泊税が課税されます。 室料には下記の宿泊税が加算されます。 Starting October 1, 2018, an accommodation tax will be applied to all stays within Kyoto city limits. The following accommodation tax will be added to the room charge.
宿泊料金（1名1泊） Room Rate（per person per night） 課税額 Tax Amount
20,000円未満（Less than 20,000 JPY） 200円（200 JPY）
20,000円～49,999円（20,000-49,999 JPY） 500円（500 JPY）
50,000円以上（50,000 JPY or more） 1,000円（1,000 JPY）
The tax rate is applied to the room charge (exclusive 8% consumption tax) based on per person per night. 宿泊税は宿泊料金のみに適用されます。食事代等には消費税はかかりません。 The accommodation tax is applied only to the room rate.
